Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on a Shopper's device by a website or embedded app to store information such as preferences or session state. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags. Perfect Cart's storefront embed uses these technologies in a limited way to power its cart modules.

The Shopify platform itself, and any other apps a Merchant has separately installed on their store, may set their own cookies independent of Perfect Cart. We are not responsible for cookies set by Shopify core checkout or by other third-party apps on the Merchant's store.

In addition to cookies, the cart modules may use browser local storage or session storage to temporarily hold non-sensitive state — for example, the current free-shipping progress calculation purely on the Shopper's own device, improving load performance without sending that state back to our servers more often than necessary.

Shoppers can control or delete cookies through their browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may cause certain cart modules (such as dismissible banners or saved coupon state) to behave less smoothly, though core checkout functionality provided by Shopify itself will not be affected.

We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology or legal obligations evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
